Golden Eaglets’ star, Victor Osimhen, has jetted out to England, where he is expected to seal a deal with a top English Premier League side, officials said.

The youngster flew out to England from Dakar, Senegal, after he helped Nigeria win the U-23 African Nations Cup, africanFootball.com reports.

Ibrahim Idris Wambai, the former Accounts Officer II, has revealed that that the Office of Nigeria’s former Vice President Namadi Sambo was on a monthly stipend of N20million from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) led by former NSA, Sambo Dasuki.

The Court of Appeal in Abuja yesterday nullified the election of Senate Minority leader Godswill Akpabio as the Senator representing Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in the Senate. The Court of Appeal in its ruling said their judgement was based on the violations of the Electoral Act during the senatorial election between Mr. Akpabio and the APC candidate Inibehe Okori. Photos: Commuter train slams into passenger bus, killing 14 and injuring 10 in Indonesia

 
   A commuter train on today Sunday December 6th plowed into a parked passenger bus at a railroad crossing in Indonesia's capital of Jakarta, leaving 14 people dead and 10 seriously injured.

According to Tambora neighbourhood police chief, Wirdhanto, the bus driver ignored the warning signals when he crossed the rail tracks and was rammed by the train. Wirdhanto said that 13 people died instantly while one died in a hospital. He added that none of passengers on the train headed to Jakarta's neighbouring town of Bogor with about 400 passengers, were hurt.

Police In Delta State Uncover Baby Factories Where Infants Are Sold For N2.5m & Toddlers N5m

 
The police in Delta State have uncovered no fewer than 23 illegal orphanages where babies are allegedly sold within the Warri and Asaba environs of the state.
The police arrested 21 persons suspected to be behind the illicit business, just as they recovered six babies in the hideout of the suspects.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Celestina Kalu, confirmed the development, saying that the police, following a tip-off, have rescued over 40 babies allegedly put up for sale at various illegal orphanage in Asaba, Kwale and Warri.

Morgan Freeman's Plane Crash Lands after Tire Blew Out


Morgan Freeman had a big scare Saturday night when a plane that he was on crash landed in Tunica, Mississippi. Fortunately, the 78-year-old actor did not suffer any injuries.

Freeman told TheWrap in a statement:
'I was on my plane on the way to Texas to shoot a segment for The Story of God.
Sometimes things don’t go as planned and a tire blew on take-off which caused other problems. But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobson we landed safely without a

Twenty-three years after a military plane crash in which more than 159 officers lost their lives in Ejirin swamp in Lagos in 1992, then military ruler, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) has finally spoken on the ill-fated incident.


Babangida, in an exclusive chat in the maiden edition of The Interview, disclosed that the crashed aircraft ought not to have flown on that specific day, based on the issue of maintenance and number of flying hours already attained.
